The combatants are rejoicing over a atrocity that relief organizations fear resulted in the deaths of over thousands of people in the Sudanese urban center of the Darfur city during October.

A City Isolated from the Globe

After maintaining the city under siege for almost 24 months, from the summer the paramilitary force advanced to strengthen its dominance and restrict the leftover civilian population.
