Salah Extends Apology to Squad, Reveals Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that the Egyptian forward expressed regret to the team following the fallout from his public comments.

The striker was dropped from a key Champions League match after making accusations and claiming his connection to the head coach had soured.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
Arne Slot has refused to comment publicly on whether he got an explanation from the veteran striker.
Team Unity
He emphasized that the dressing room atmosphere stayed normal. “Nothing about him changed, his demeanour was positive and everybody was exactly the same with him,” the midfielder explained.
The midfielder also noted that a competitor wanting to play is less of an issue. “It's clear there are certain ways you can go about things,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s concerning.”
On-Field Response
The team's performance have remained strong in the matches since the situation. Jones believes the forward's comments were not intended to harm the team.
“In moments of frustration, the source has been from a good place,” he finished. “It's behind us and we’re gelling well as a team, performing and securing victories.”
